 Light chocolate/clay brown
A few reasons why internally machined headtubes are better for MTBs: they require less heat for welding, as they have a constant wall thickness (making the weld stronger!). It is also much easier to mitre the main tubes against them, as they don't have complex curves to contend with. This tighter fit makes for a stronger weld. They look really clean with a suspension fork.

A clone of the frame and bars that I am running. I will be making a run of these in the next week. The frame geometry has a longer reach and a shorter chainstay than most hardtail DJ frames.

The oval monostays usually take much longer to miter, but this one went really quick. Stuff always goes faster when you have lots of sleep followed by a gallon of DrPepper.

Pretty tired from the weekend jam/race. The race course was difficult and sent many people OTB (myself included) when coming out of a few berms.

This is what happens when jumps are a little disproportionate and the dirt is too new.

Eric bought this old Stout 24". That lens distortion makes it look like it has a 90* head angle. Photo tip:  Back up and zoom in to reduce distortion.
