I acid cleaned and powdercoated Jason's frame yesterday. Unfortunately his brake situation didn't work out for today's ride.

I'll have two different angles for these, a set for AM frames and a tighter angle for DJ frames. The 7075 is on order by Joe the machinist and the 4130 is going to the waterjets.

left and right hand drive, 14.4" chainstay with 110X14mm spacing and clearance for 27t sprocket and 2.15" street tire slammed:

 this yoke has got an i-beam/rib welded inside to prevent flex

I actually wish that all frames were disc mount. So much easier than mitering brake bosses.

 Race 22":  it will probably be less than 4 lbs before chrome... I can't say how much that stuff will add.

Sliders

Some design work on the sliding dropouts idea. I still have to decide the best way to handle the disc side... and not have it turn out ugly. This design allows the axle nut/ QR skewer to apply force to the face of the steel part and the sliding AL part at the same time. The steel part will likely be water jet cut and the mating portions would be machined to tolerance.

More 22" wheelers this week. A few of which are pretty unique- one with a disc mount and another will be a super-light race frame.
