 I finally bought a dropper post and am really glad I chose a 150mm travel version. I tend to use up every bit of that standover for mid-trail obstacles.

 Direct mount disc mount: this was necessary because a certain manufacturer of bike parts "made" a 110mm BMX disc hub by taking a 135mm MTB hub and placing smaller cone spacers to reduce its width. This left the disc about 4mm off and made it impossible to use the standard brake adapters.
