This second FS/SS frame has an even 100mm travel where the first one was 85mm. It has wider set bearings and a different system for tightening the main pivot as well (the pivot axle doesn't just squeeze the bracket) I also tried a slacker 68* head angle and higher 13.25" BB height. This geometry would be more at home on rocky terrain where clearance is an issue and a slack rake is a must. I have gotten very attached to the lower 12.3" BB and steeper 69 HA that the first iteration has.
When I find the time I will try a different design for a more trail/AM oriented bike.
My Supertherm is
still in queue, but Vern's 24" BMX and Nathan's 26" street MTB frame will be done by this weekend.
