More 29ers and BMX frames this week.
Direct mount for Sram front derailleur. As well as "enhanced shifting performance" the direct mount allows for adequate tire clearance with shorter chainstays.

double barrel cable adjusters: these allow the use of two cables instead of running a 2-1 converter down from the Gyro. This would also allow each cable to run directly to the brake arm instead of going to a hanger. (the hanger and the cable converter are usually the parts that make the most noise against the TT)

Allied Jam

Yet another jam/contest, this time in Manor Texas. I'll try to find some pics from someone who took decent photos. Thanks to Tony at Allied Fencing for having a kickass ranch setup. That roll-in gets interesting when the wind starts blowing. Big 26" MTB wheels feel like sails... in an unnerving way.

Here is a link to the Vid that Hippie Josh made:

The Anthills Jam happened this Saturday and we had a huge turnout. Craig Swafford from Austin went home with a Stout BMX Anhills 21.1"...  I had a few crashes pretty early in the day and subsequently drank four tallboys, so the whole day is kind of a hazy memory. Here are a few pics from the jam:

Just got back from a family ski trip in Whistler. Ready to make frames. I'll be trying a new laser cutters in Houston. I'm out of 14mm dropouts at the moment and will be making some 2.5mm thick dropouts for some small (youth) BMX race bikes as well.
