Techmology

Jason’s frame is ready to go

The one below (without the seat stay gussets) is Brian’s new frame. His has flattened chainstays just because they look cool

One of the random parts that I designed and made this week on a rapid printer at the factory job: Golf cart toggle switch cover to prevent the light switches from being inadvertently flipped on from a pant leg.
A new tapered head tube type that I intend to use, once I find the reamer for a 52 mm drop-in headset

I think computers got as good as they’ll ever get... like ten years ago. One of my computers went out_ Actually, I kicked the printer which knocked the computer over. But it’s fixable. We have the techmology. In case you were wondering why I haven’t posted here in a while.

Pleased to get Cody on one of my 26"s. I'm trying to have the other 3 frames done in the next few weeks. Bars are in progress, as are Machines
Billy's bars are ready to go.

Finger smudges aside, I think its a good looking frame. That SS gusset does wonders for lateral stiffness/frame invincibility
I got one of the 4" coated. Three others in que
There are many amazing street spots within earshot of this wallride. And no one has ever told me to scram. Huntsville TX

Lots more to go. Tomorrow, some 31.8mm, then (later this week) coat some 3" and 4.5" bars and get 4", 4.5" and 5.75" going. Then back on stock frames. I'm just having too many bar requests to ignore at the moment.
I had these labeled as 4.5" but they are actually 5".

ready to go if Paul likes them. Rain is coming soon so I should get some serious work in on the frames and more bars

The "Pocyclypse"

The 2.5" and 4" are welded and ready to coat or ship.
I'll squeeze in a resto-mod of an old Brooklyn DH frame's chainstay in the next few weeks. I'd do it now but the bearing clamp thing is 2.3" diameter and 2.5mm thick_ an odd size. So I'll have to order a foot of that stuff. The current CS is so badly cracked that a new design is necessary. My initial design had a cool complex curve to that upper tube but the chain clearance is apparently really tight on those jack-shaft bikes. So straight tubes with a little "S" bend for sprocket clearance will be the answer.
Myself and a few others at the factory got an all expense paid trip to Michigan for CNC maintenance training. I'd never seen lake Michigan before and the surrounding areas could be wicked on a sand bike, though I didn't see any actual bike trails. What look like little mountainous regions are really just sand dunes, so single track is probably non existent on the cool looking lake/coast.

Back here in Texas, things are as crazy as everywhere else. The local petro-chemical dependent economy is quickly tanking, people are hoarding toilet paper, snakes are tying themselves in knots etc. But hopefully the 86* F weather will keep the current pandemic at bay (or swamp)
