Bigger machine

The biggest machine that my current shop will ever have. This machine has got a solid mill and lathe with variable speed and a 1.125" bore.

Today was spent trying to get the shipped crate off of my dirt lawn, over a one foot step, through a doorway and on top of the table. At about 660 lbs (plus the 40lbs of other stuff in the crate) this was not an easy task for one person. Engine hoists don't function well in dirt (I had to make a plywood driveway). Very glad that I chose this machine over the gunsmith lathe which was 1,500 lbs.

Tex' 22" fork and frame about finished. Some 9" bars on the way

Theo's son's race frame waiting on Supertherm stays. This will be the most Supertherm tubing that I've used on one frame: its a S-Therm top, down, seat and all four stays. The seat tube collar is a stainless 27.2 ID/31.8 OD for the standard BMX QR clamps.
